When we first met Kaile and Cameron they had a clear vision for what they were hoping to create for their wedding; a day that was a nod to the city they love so much and that leaned into the beauty of SF in the fall. Their love for each other and their people was so tangible throughout the planning process, and even looking back through photos it's evident that they so enjoy being in each other's company! It made the planning process really so enjoyable for our team and it was such an honor to partner with them to create this beautiful day!
It was our first time at both SF Botanical Gardens and the Haas-Lilienthal House, and both were so lovely and a fun exercise in trying out new designs in new spaces. Both required very different approaches: Botanical Gardens was a large space that we needed to make more intimate so we made decisions like curving the chairs and utilizing large ground arrangements to anchor the space; alternatively, Haas-Lilienthal House was an incredible home with lots of rooms and narrow doorways that we needed to make work for our group of 100 so we flipped spaces from cocktails to dessert and from dinner to dancing in order to make the space work well!
Huge thanks to this amazing vendor team for making the day unforgettable!

Kaile had her eye on a specific veil that served as the color palette inspiration, and from there we leaned into the specific aesthetic of each venue. There were so many unique and untraditional details throughout the day that fit Kaile and Cam so perfectly.
Guests met at SF Botanical Gardens for the ceremony and then hopped on an SF trolley car and made their way to the Haas-Lilienthal House for the reception! Kaile's dad stepped in as their officiant, and their dog was the star of the ceremony; the reception made the most of the Haas' unique layout with a charcuterie dessert course and live musicians in the parlor, and a tarot card reader available while guests waited for their turn in the photo booth.
