We love Carmel and we love La Playa, so when Rachel and Russell brought us on to help them plan their wedding it felt like the perfect fit! Rachel and Russell leaned into the coastal blues and lush garden aesthetic of this historic hotel, and we incorporated playful, whimsical details like their signage and paper goods, their postcard 'guest book', their polaroid cake topper, and the fruit added to the tablescapes. Add to all of that the fact that their wedding date was Saturday, September 21st (enter tune to one of the most famous songs of all time) and it was a night asking for a celebration!
